Control-A-Flow® Draft Eliminator

Features & Benefits

Control-A-Flow® Draft Eliminator with or without Anti-microbial Filter is a personal office air deflector that re-directs air from the overhead A/C or heating vents to follow the ceiling line, rather than blowing down onto employee's heads. Two 32" x 1˝" rails clip onto the drop ceiling T-bar. The filters fit into a bracket built into the clip and rests up against the supply diffuser. The deflector panels rest on the bottom lip of the rails. The rails also have ˝" by 8" holes in them, with adjustable cover plates that can expose or cover the holes, allowing for more air direction options.

  • Adjustable: Using the included "Adjusting Wand" the panels and rail cover plates can be adjusted to redirect the air in 2, 3, 4 or even 5 directions at once, while easily and safely standing on the floor.  
  • Installation: The rails clip onto the existing T-bar and hangs below the ceiling line by only 1˝".  Requiring no tools, it can be installed in less than 2 minutes.  
  • Versatile: Can be relocated to another area quickly and easily.  Works great in laboratories to keep air from affecting scales and experiments.

Filtration

The filters are made of a multi-density Dacron fiber that creates one of the thinnest filters available, while boasting over an 85% efficiency rating for particles 2 microns or larger.  The filter is treated with EPA registered Dow Corning AEGIS anti-microbial treatment, which chemically bonds to the filter to virtually destroy bacteria and other microorganisms on contact, reducing airborne microorganisms by up to 86.5% in one pass, as certified by Air Filter Test Laboratory, and it will not off-gas into the air stream.  The filters last approximately 4-8 months and are quickly, easily and inexpensively replaced.

  • Filters Economically Replaced: The filters last 4-8 months and replacement is a snap.  Just insert the re-usable metal frame into the new filter sleeve, secure end-cap and place back into the Control-A-Flow®.
