Our History
International Diversified Marketing, Inc. (IDM) manufactures indoor air quality products that work to increase comfort and improve airflow while maintaining proper system balance. The company was founded in 1977 and incorporated in 2003. IDM expanded into the HVAC industry in 1995 with the goal of improving comfort in the workplace by controling the direction of airflow from overhead air registers. The company’s flagship product, the Control-A-Flow® Draft Eliminator, is a patented air diffuser that installs easily over existing vents to immediately increase comfort levels while simultaneously improving air quality through advanced anti-microbial filtration of dust, pollens, bacteria, VOCs, rust and other airborne pollutants. On April 29, 2003 another patent was awarded, this time for the Comfort First Filtered Diffuser™, a four-way adjustable metal diffuser with louvers located at each discharge point and electrostatic filters on the inside. The Comfort First can be installed to replace existing diffusers now or during remodel or specified for new construction. Our Mission Statement
